Dr. Steve Wilhite

Dr. Steve Wilhite received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University and completed his residency at the Queen’s Medical Center. A long-standing member of the American Dental Association and the Hawaii Dental Association, Dr. Wilhite has also completed a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Wilhite is a member of the honorary International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists, an elite association that recognizes only 3% of dentists worldwide for their career contributions to dentistry and oral health. He has served as the past President of the Hawaii Dental Association and is the only dentist in Hawaii who has the Qualified Dentist designation with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

In addition to serving patients like you through his general practice, Dr. Wilhite serves as a staff dentist for Queen’s Medical Center, Queen’s Medical Sleep Center, Kaiser Medical, and Hale Nani Rehabilitation Nursing Facility. Dr. Wilhite is the only Dentist in the Queen’s Medical Center Physicians Office Buildings.

Bernadine “Bernie”

Business Assistant

Bernadine “Bernie” was born and raised in Oahu. As a business assistant, she helps patients with scheduling, as well as answering financial and insurance questions. Bernie likes relaxing at the beach, having family and friends over for BBQ’s and spending time with her pets.


Dental Hygienist

Lena has worked in the dental field since 2001.  She relocated to Honolulu from the Big Island in 2004 to pursue a higher education in healthcare and later received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  In her spare time Lena enjoys the theatre, relaxing at the beach and appreciating the beauty of nature with her daughter, Zaylee Ann.


Dental Assistant

Shaye was born and raised on Oahu. For the past 3 1/2 years she has worked in children’s dentistry, but found her passion working with adults. Shaye stays busy by keeping up with her 7-year-old daughter, Haylee-Marie. They enjoy watching football together, cheering on their favorite team the San Francisco 49ers.
